Study Skills

After searching the site on study skills linked to the class website answer the following questions.  All  members are to participate and post a comment.

1. Where does the time go?  How much time did you have left to use for studying?

2. What is an acronym?  What acronym did they use to help learn the names and order of the planets?  What acronym did you come up with for knowing the sequence for red blood cell maturation?

3. Study Skills Checklist: What were the areas where you needed extra assistance?

4. What are somethings you learned to help you concentrate beter while studying?

5. What are some important tips about your study environment?

6. What are the steps for note-taking according to the Cornell system?  Summarize them.

7. Why should you edit your notes, and how should you do it?

8. List 5 helpful tips you learned about taking notes in class.

9. What does SQ3R stand for?  Discuss it.

10. Discuss the steps you would take to answer a difficult question.

11. How can you improve your vocabulary? 

Energy Transformation

Search the web for 5 useful sites that help explain energy transformations.  The information must be consistent with the standards you have learned.  Post a comment including the web address, a summary of the website information, and how useful you found the information.  Each person in the group must find at least one site, and complete the summary with help from group members.  Label your individual entry.  In the post title put the names of you group members.

Useful Information

The internet can be a very useful tool for study and enrichment.  Google search, and find 5 useful websites on the topic of states of matter, chemical, and physical changes.  The sites cannot be any listed on my class website, and they must be valid web addresses.  When you find the sites copy and paste the url into your response with a description of the the site and how useful you think it will be.

Name your posting by putting your first and last name.
